Olcott's Land Value Maps - 1928

This annual map book was used to determine land values around the city and was available to realtors, developers and bankers. These maps are a valuable source of information for the location of railroads and industries and show the extent of development in any given year. These maps are from the 1928 edition and represent the apex of development in the area prior to the Great Depression. The maps cover the communities of Beverly Hills, Morgan Park and Washington Heights. The page numbers indicated the location of the maps within the map book if you look up the maps at RHS.
